Garden Protector dog and cat repeller has the following parameters: 17cm x 12cm x 8cm. This appliance has weatherproof, plastic house with built-in motion sensor.


Battery installation:

Garden Protector dog and cat repeller operates on 4 "D" cell alkaline batteries. (Batteries typically last 4 to 6 months.) The set not contains the batteries!
Make sure the SOUND DIAL found on the front of the unit is in the OFF position (all the way counterclockwise).
To install batteries, simply slide off rear cover. Match the batteries to the corresponding positive and negative terminals as shown on the case. Replace the cover by lining up the arrows (located on both side) with the tick marks on the case, then slide the cover closed.


Operation and use:

Select which animal (dog, cat, marten etc.) to repel by turning the SOUND DIAL clockwise. Refer to the diagram on back of the unit for pest specific control settings.

Note:

In order to operate the unit in an effective way, we advise to set the dial to 7 in all case!
If the repeller emits a squeaking or scratching sound, slightly rotate the dial in either direction until the sound stops.

The Garden Protector dog and cat repeller becomes operational once the motion sensor is triggered. Once activated, the unit emits sounds for approximately 7 seconds then turns off. The unit will reactivate in 5 seconds if movement continues and the cycle will repeated.


CAUTION: Some sounds (position 6-7) are audible to humans!


Mounting and placement:

Two options exist.

I. Use the included "L" shaped bracket to mount the unit to a buiding, wall, fence or wooden post, with nails or screws.

II. Use the included rotary cylinder to mount the unit on a pole or pipe (1" átmérőjű).

The protected area by the motion sensor is up to 15-16 meters in 90°. The speaker projects sounds on a horizontal plane in one direction, therefore the Garden Protector dog and cat repeller should be placed near the ear level of the animals to be repelled. More than one repeller may be required in dense foilage or larger acreage. Operate the pest repeller continuously (on a certain frequency). Do not changing frequency. During installation set the dial to 7, or if the sound disturbs someone, set it to 5. Allow up to 2-3 weeks to see results. Continue use to permanently keep pests away.


Note:

The more you turn the rotary dial to the right (clockwise), the lower the sound frequency and the greater the area of coverage.


How it works:

Once the motion sensor is activated the Garden Protector dog and cat repeller begins to emit an array of sound signals (frequencies depend on settings). The animals (dog, cat, marten etc.) cannot adapt to the constantly changing array of ultrasonic and sonic signals emitted by the unit thus disrupting their nervous system, and effecting their feeding, communication and social habits, forcing them to leave the area. Independent laboratory and university testing has proven Weitech technology to be an effective form of pest control.


Note:

The Garden Protector yard protector dog and cat repeller is intended to solve problems with roaming or unleashed pets and wild animals. Do not aim the repeller into public areas. Be aware that humans can hear the unit at its lowest settings. If this occurs, and is undesired, select a higher frequency. Humans and pets should avoid prolonged exposure to the appliance at distances closer than 8m. Garden Protector dog and cat repeller - due to its operating method - has no effect on deaf animals.


Warranty:

We grant you 1 year guarantee from the purchasing date. It means we exchange the product.


Warranty is not valid in the following cases:

aggresive intervention, breaking, unsuitable using, carelessness, injuring, changing or unsuitable using.
The bad product should be sent back to the distributor's address (Harp's Ltd., H-5000 Szolnok, József Attila út 38. I/8.) with the guarantee bond and the copy of the invoice. The buyer has to contact the distributor before sending back the product. If any of these conditions miss, the guarantee is not valid. It is the buyer who pays the cost of sending back the product, and it is the distributor who pays the cost of sending a new unit.

Within 8 days of receiving the product, the buyer has the right to cancel the agreement - with a written declaration. In this case the buyer can ask the repayment of the product's price, if he/she returns - at private expense - to HARP'S Ltd.'s address (H-5000 Szolnok, József Attila út 38. I/8., Hungary) the original invoice, and the product in original package, clean, without damages, and in condition of being proper used.
