Find out the type and number of birds. Find out how long they have been there, flying time, time intervals, places of entries and ways out, their favourite places, places of birds' food sources and nests.
 

Examine what attracts the birds (pigeon, swallow, sparrow)  to that area from where you would like to repel them (food, hiding places etc.). Examine the same conditions of the neighbouring areas.
 

Eliminate the reasons: before installation clean the area from nests, nestling, fecals and smells. Remove all scraps of food, dirts, nests and other things which can be still attractive to birds (if necessary use protective mask and glove!).
 

You have to make clean and changeable environment! From time to time remove nests and fecals from the area.
 

Install the bird repeller before birds start thier spring flying: it is much easier to keep away birds from an area before they have already settled there.
 

It is useful to combine different bird repeller products. You can archieve better effectiveness if you use two or three types of different units (for example: a stroboscope lamp + physical protection + sound emitting repeller).
 

Apply at different places.
 

Establish a legal and accepted environment!
 

1. In order to avoid complications it is adviseable to install stroboscope lamp in such a way, so birds (pigeon, swallow, sparrow) cannot hide before the flashing light behind beams or other solid materials. In other words: do not place the stroboscope lamp in level with other building elements. It more useful to place the unit like the chairs in the theatre to get a better view.
 

2. Vertical installation: birds sometimes sleep on same level in an enclosed area. That's why place the unit in a vertical postition as close as possible to the settled birds. The unit should be a bit higher than birds' possible appearance. This will decrease the possibility that birds (pigeon, swallow, sparrow)can hide before the flashing light of the bird repeller stroboscope lamp.
 

3. Protected area: this is concentrical to stroboscope lamp and the effectiveness is inversely proportional to the environment light. Beside favourable conditions (in case of a dark or very dim building) stroboscope lamp can protect about 1100 m2 area. This protection is concentrical and means about a circle with 16,5m radius. This circle is proportionally decreased with light increasing of the environment.
 

4. Accessibility: in your own interest, place the lamp in such a place, where accessibility is possible.
 

5. Mounting: follow the instructions regarding the accessories. stroboscope lamp can be definitively mounted so birds are not able to hide before the lamp's light.
 

6. Operation: use stroboscope lamp when lights and moving activity are the lowest and birds start to sit in the most suitable place in the area. Do not use the unit continuously in order to avoid that birds get accustomed to it.
 

7. Connect the unit to an alternating current circuit (NOTE: you have to make the unit free from tension by discharging! Wait min. 1 minute after discharging.) During installation insert a switch on the electric wire, to avoid the possibility of mounting the unit under power!!
 

8. Handling: settled dust and dirt can decrease effectivity. If necessary clean the unit with lukewarm and soapy water. Never use dissolver or a hard surface cloth which can scratch the surface of the lamp.

1.) Remove fixing ring and outside cover.
 

2.) Separate the circle-shape stand from lamp holder, together with seal.
 

3.) Place the lamp holder to the required place through the two bored holes.
 

4.) If you mount to a solid wall, use wall-plugs suitable to the wall.
 

5.) If you mount to hollow wall, use the necessary screws and fixing flies.
 

Note: if you have no possibility to access to the other side of the hollow wall, be sure that fixing flies are screwed on the screws at least by 6 mm. This way you can avoid the unit's fall off the wall.
