Super Bark Stop is such a bark stop product, which makes possible for
you to keep even your neighbor's dog from barking. For outdoor use
only!
Operation:
The Super Bark Stop is battery operated (4 "D" not included). Remove the screw of
the back panel and place the four batteries into the battery compartment.
Control cover is located on the front of the unit. This cover is
transparent and waterproof, and by removing the screw, you can access to
the control panel. It is the third swith (BARK SETTING) from the top
which makes possible to turn on the unit. On the top of the unit the
left LED is red and lights to indicate the unit is on. The right LED is
green and lights to indicate the unit emits ultrasonic sound.
Sound focusing Speaker:
The Sound focusing speaker can be found on the front of the unit. This
focuses the sound emitted by the Super Bark Stop. Due to its special
sound emitting technique, it focuses the sound waves to the target more
effectively, for examle to the dog-house.
Microphone:
The built-in microphone can be found below the Speaker, three cuts
indicate its place. The sensitivity of the microphone is adjustable by
setting the switches of the control panel into a suitable position.
Control panel:
The control panel is located on the front under the control cover, which
is transparent, waterproof and removeable. You can set the following:

Test button: makes possible to hear ultrasonic sound with
human ear. This is essential to set the unit. After turning on the unit wait
until the dog starts barking.
If the sensitivity of the Super Bark Stop
has
been set correctly, the unit emits the repelling audible sound. If the unit
remains silence, you have to re-set the sensitivity and start the above steps
again. You have to follow these steps until the unit turns on automatically when
the dog starts barking. When it happens, just switch the unit into ultrasonic
sound and use that in the future.

Sensitivity switch: slide the switch to the right to increase
sensitivity and to the left to decrease it. This allows you to select how loud
the bark must be to activate the unit.
When you set Super Bark Stop,
please take into consideration, that the dog during barking can turn away from
the microphone,
that's why the loud of its barking can be lower. For these cases it is
adviseable to set a bit more
sensitivity, but
be sure that the bark control unit
turns on only for dog
barking, not for other loud sounds.
We suggest you to switch the unit to "Audible" during setting the microphone, so
you will be able to control sensitivity. Please be careful and try the different
settings a big distance from your ear!

Bark Setting: allows you to
set the number of barks that have to occur within a 10 second time period for
the unit to activate.

Audible /Ultrasonic: select
the Ultrasonic to allow sound to be heard only by dogs and select Audible to
allow sound to be heard by all.

The bark
control unit targets barking up to 15-20 m. The
Super Bark Stop
should be placed as close to the barking dog as possible,
focusing the unit to the dog. Be sure the dog cannot reach
the unit but the height shouldn't be greater than 1,8 m.
Take care that nothing
is
between the
bark stop and the dog which is in the way
of the sound (for example: wall, fence etc.). With the help
of a nail you can place the unit on the wall at the mounting
bracket.
Placement of the Super Bark Stop is important, because
ultrasonic sound pattern do not penetrate solid materials.
The ultrasonic sound is deflected and orabsorbed within the
enviroment. Hard surfaces such as concrete, wood, metal,
plastic and window glass will deflect the sound. Soft
surfaces such as grass, plants or bedding can absorb the
sound. The effectivity of the unit can be increased if there
is a hard, solid wall or surface in the enviroment of the
dog, which deflect sounds. These deflections increase the
original effectivity of the product.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
If you believe the unit is not activating when dog
barks:

CAUTION!
Super Bark Stop is for outdoor use only. Never place the
speaker close to your ear, because it can cause hear-injury.
Children are not allowed to use use it. Don't place the unit
into water or other liquid.
The unit is only effective in case of one barking dog. In case of
two or more dogs, the effectiveness is not guaranteed!
NOTE:
If you hear a rattling sound in the unit, it may be
the lock washer that holds the screw to the battery cover. It will not
harm the bark control unit, or cause the unit to malfunction.
Warranty:
We grant you 1 year guarantee from the purchasing date. It
means we exchange the product.
Warranty is not valid in the following cases:
aggresive intervention, breaking, unsuitable using,
carelessness, injuring, changing or unsuitable using.
The bad product should be
sent back to the distributor's address (Harp's Ltd., H-5000 Szolnok,
József Attila út 38. I/8.) with the guarantee bond and the copy of the
invoice. The buyer has to contact the distributor before sending back
the product. If any of these conditions miss, the guarantee is not
valid. It is the buyer who pays the cost of sending back the
product, and it is the distributor who pays the cost of sending a new
unit.
Within 8 days of receiving
the product, the buyer has the right to cancel the agreement - with a
written declaration. In this case the buyer can ask the repayment of the
product's price, if he/she returns - at private expense - to HARP'S
Ltd.'s address (H-5000 Szolnok, József Attila út 38. I/8., Hungary) the
original invoice, and the product in original package, clean, without
damages, and in condition of being proper used.
